Braves Win Spring Training Opener

The Braves took on Georgia Tech today in their exhibition opener and extended their winning streak to 19 against GT. Last year the Braves no hit Georgia Tech with five pitchers but today the Yellow Jackets' Wally Crancer and Brad Felte recorded hits in the 5-0 loss to the Braves. Matt Harrison and Kevin Barry combined for the first four scoreless innings and 7 strikeouts while Ryan Langerhans' third-inning homer off Jared Hyatt provided the offensive boost. The Braves will send Kyle Davies to the mound on Thursday in their first Grapefruit League game when they begin their first of a two game set with the Dodgers.
